do the ppl of Aegis/Icesus have any "recognized holidays" ?
a holiday that all races/classes appreciate or pay awareness/tribute to? (for instance like... Earth Day! [that being the element Earth.. not... Earth Day(tm)])

but seriously.. they dont have to be holidays or occassions that have anything ...

i was hesitatant about mentioning FF on this topic because of just that. i like icesus for icesus.. and i didnt want to sound like i think we should rip off any ideas... but i still think it was a somewhat nice resource for ideas as what could be possible for bards and how their skills work :) but ...

yeh.. last MUD i played that had a jail it worked out nicely i think... marshalls patrolling the streets.. bonk (to put it nicely) you over the head with a battle mace till you fall unconscious.. then they drag your butt to jail.. theres a bond price etc etc that other players can pay for you... if ...

if broghs are really that big then they should get another race combat ability other than just slam. like....... sitting on their enemies or something... something that big sitting on you is bound to crush SOMETHING!

yeh i know.. but is it limited to achieving your goal (killing the person ie. DEAD) or is it still PK if you attack them but dont kill them lol

well i suppose it would depend on how the bard gets its money?
show business HAS been known to drive ppl to materialism :P

plus if the bard cant make ends meet (if hes a melee type bard he might not have as good as "song & dance" skills)...

i could see bards as rogues... the last MUD i played ...

i see nothing wrong with wearing sacks or quivers or what component pouches or what have you... but it WOULD be silly to see someone wearing like 3 or 4 backpacks.... and pockets arent really that bad as long as its one pocker per article of clothing... and for the most part ...

cuz there will always be players who can FIND an RP reason to kill someone lol...

of course being drunk and killing someone in a drunken rage wouldnt count.. or something easy manipulated like that (as RP can be...)

i really depends how you make the raft dont you think? if weight is the problem im sure theres a way to counter it with some bouyancy (spelling?) of some sort...
