yup, mage spells deal great devastation as first strike spells, I have killed 40k bears with the first ball. So a caster CAN be a great hunter character as well.

Total worth: 169,775,786. lvl58 mage. Usually I have very low solo rate at ~2000-3000/min should have over 3k/min with mage of these totals. 5-6k/min is totally possible and not even that hard, you just have to know what to kill.
