== Saving your minions level == Step 1: Make a minion of any type, but note that if you switch types, the saved exp will be gone. Step 2: level the minion to lvl 5, then keep exping a little more (because you will save 80% of its CURRENT exp when you do the following steps, so overleveling will ensure it will stay at lvl 5) Step 3: This step also banishes the current minion, so be sure to unwield any weapons from it (armours cannot be unweared from minions). Cast conjure undead at (miniontype). You have now saved 80% of its current experience. Step 4: Now you just make a new minion of the same type, and it should be lvl 5, or 4 if there was not enough overleveling done. After step 3, never use "conjure undead at (same miniontype)" to banish your minion, or you will overwrite the saved exp, and depending on how much you made exp for the current minion, it might save it as lower level than before (if you only did very little exp with current minion). '''From step 3 onward, if you need to banish your minion for whatever reason, use "eps_cmd banish" so it will not affect the saved exp.''' Please note: as mentioned in step 1, if you conjure a different type minion than what you have saved, the saved experience on the previous minion type will be reset, and you will get a lvl 1 (or 2 if enough mastery) minion of the "new" type. '''example:''' You just reinced to EP firs time, have no minion saved at all. You make a minion, it has 0 exp, level 1. You exp with the minion, it just advanced to level 2, with 100 exp total. You have to log off, and you save your minion with "cast conjure undead at <whatever type you have>", you will save 80% of its CURRENT exp. Next day you log in, make same type minion, it will spawn with 80 saved exp, so you only need 20 more for it to level up to lvl 2. ''Please note, that if you re-save it at this point, without giving minion more exp, your minion would have 80% of 80 exp the next time you conjure it, meaning 64 exp.'' This can be avoided by not saving the minion (and if you want to get rid of the minion, use "eps_cmd banish" command. this will destroy the minion, and does not touch the saved exp in any way), unless you feel like the save result would end up being more than the original 80 exp in this example. Continuing the example: You log in, conjure minion, it has 80 saved exp on it. Today you exp with it some more, now it has 300 total exp. If you save the minion now, the next time you conjure minion, it will have (0.8 * 300 = 240) exp. And if you continue this process (or just straight up level it to 5 on the first go), by the time it levels up to level 5, and has for example 1000 exp, this is the point you want to "over-level" it to, for example, 1300 exp . So now when you save it, it will have (0.8 * 1300 = 1040) exp, which means it will be level 5 from spawn (in this example, level 5 requires total of 1000exp). After you reach this point, DO NOT save it again. To my knowledge, the amount of exp on a minion only matters when it comes to the levels, and once it is max level, you don't benefit from having saved up more than what is required TO SPAWN MINION AS LVL 5 (1000 exp required in this example). So after previous point, always use "eps_cmd banish" command, or just leave the minion to an altar when you leave game. This way, it will always be lvl 5 when you conjure it. Because if you conjure lvl 5 minion with 1040 saved exp, and then kill only few things, minion now has 1100 total exp, and if you save at this point, the next time you summon it it will have only (0.8 * 1100 = 880 exp) which is less than level 5. ''NOTE: I have NOT excessively tested what a minion would be like, if I managed to ramp its "saved exp" up to, for example, 5m exp. I have always just saved it when i know it will come out as lvl 5. So go and test if having A LOT more saved exp than needed makes any difference! :)''
