There are many kinds of magic on the Aegic but in the end all of them are
different kind of chants and rituals to channel powers from somewhere else
like the surrounding world or the gods. Blood magic on the other hand uses
person's own natural power and energy to achieve magical feats, although
some times your own blood and life energy might not be enough to do so and
you might need to loan it from someone else someway. As it uses person's
own power it needs no chants nor gestures. Actually it gains strength from
person's physical prowess, especially in combat.
