possibly a metal tip on them. Yet the skill of engineering on the crossbow
creates amazing amounts of force as the bolt is let loose and it allows the
bolts to push through even the thickest of plate mails. This leaves the
armour damage or even may rip it totally off, leaving the opponents
partially exposed for additional attacks.
