For a master of dark arts mirror world of shadows is an instant pathway
between shadowy places of the world. As long as they are surrounded by
darkness deep enough they can use it as a portal to realm of shadows and
then leap out of it to an another person or place cloaked in shadows. When
combined with knowledge of spells such as mantle of darkness one is able to
use the shadowleap defensively by leaping out of harm's way or even
offensively against enemies exiled into darkness. It can also be used
offensively by a clever dhamphirs. There are also certain safe havens that
can be used to leap into such as to Dathaghul at the Old Graemor haven and
home to your own bloodline's haven. Dhamphirs who reign over darkness may
also bind one location as their own haven where they can leap if the
location is dark enough.
