Psychic phalanx is a defensive psionic discipline that allows a psionicist
to fortify his mind against all mental attacks. The psionicist envelopes
his mind with a psychic energy and erects mental barriers to protect it.
These mental barriers must be broken through with probing in order to
attack psionicists mind. The discipline also greatly protects the
psionicist from psionic damage that doesn't require probing. By evoking
psychic phalanx the psionicist also purges all psychic probes out of his
mind leaving only mental links as a pathways of out his mind. 

This discipline is related to elemental Antimagic.
