After becoming a psionicist one starts to develop different ways of
handling his own mind and learns the secrets of his own psyche. Quickly he
also learns to telepathically affect other people's minds. At first simply
probing their mind but quickly learning to damage their minds, snoop their
thoughts, force them to do things they normally wouldn't maybe do,
strengthen their mental confidence and many other things. This immense
power though does not come without a price. Affecting other people's minds
causes you to see horrific visions and hallucinations and witness many
things that no psionicist dares to speak of. This causes the psionicist's
own mind to slowly slip towards insanity and only through extensive
meditation one is able to shut down the voices and thoughts and clear his
mind.
