Basically anyone can pick up a sword and fight with it and possibly even
become proficient in using the sword and maybe other slashing weapon too.
Some might even call themselves grandmasters at using them but even many of
them do not have the time and dedication of truly honing their sword skills
to the utmost perfection known as the swordplay. When you have basically
endless time at your hands or ageless masters to teach you one can truly
achieve the perfection of sword using allowing him to handle his sword in a
manner unseen to mere mortals... well maybe except for a short moment
before they drown in their own blood.
