Knowledge in this skill allows psionicist to control his telekinetic powers more efficiently and more accurately, for example to aim a telekinetic thrust on the throat of his victims or to any other vulnerable spot. It also allows to make his telekinetic disciplines to last much longer.

Melee using psionicists use this discipline to enhance their combat abilities through immense concentration, while allowing them still to gain advantage from their psychic powers. Proficient users of psychokinesis are able to move faster than eye can follow and strike their opponents before that can react at all. All this of course requires immense concentration, which can be easily disturbed by for example getting hit in combat and it requires years to achieve such concentration.
