This great axe looks OLD. Fastened to a length of some ancient wood is a
crescent-shaped piece of razor-sharp obsidian. The piece is set into a
gap in the handle, and fastened to its place with some ancient adhesive
and a wrapping of sinew. It looks... out of place. Most hunters in
primitive surroundings would favor spears, whereas axes were mainly small
and used as tools. An axe this large would be neither - a hunter's weapon
or a woodcutter's tool. Was it intended for manslaying, then?
