Reporting

Use the in-game commands to report problems while you are near the place or object involved. They send your report to the Icesus GitHub issue tracker with your character name, location and relevant game state. You do not need a separate GitHub account to report from the game.

Choose the report type

• bug report <description> — something is broken or behaves incorrectly.
• typo <description> — spelling, grammar or display errors.
• idea <description> — a suggestion for the game.

Say what you did, what happened and what you expected. Include exact commands and error text when useful. For a wiki problem, include the page address and the link or text that is wrong. For a browser problem, include the browser and whether you use a phone or computer.

Follow up

• bug list — see your recent reports.
• bug view <number> — read a report.
• bug comment <number> <text> — add more information.

You can also browse the issue tracker. Posting directly on GitHub requires a GitHub account; your MUD login is used for the wiki and forum, not GitHub.

Read help reporting and the game rules. Valid bug reports and typo fixes can earn permanent divine favour rewards. Report exploits instead of using them.
