Buy from and sell on the merchants' booths.

In a shop, inn or guild hall, put 'booth' first: booth list,

Anywhere:

and what such wares sold for
booth search the places where booths stand
The owner of a booth:

covered stall

booth take <number> [amount] take a ware back; all of a listing
unless you give an amount

booth sales your booth's latest sales and changes
booth announce <number> tell the sales channel of a ware
booth move <direction> push your booth to the next room
booth enlarge buy one more slot
booth upgrade build your booth into a covered
stall
One list numbers the wares of every booth in a room, so a number
from 'list' works with view, buy and the owner's commands. With
more than one booth here, 'booth <owner> list' shows one booth.
Write prices as 2000, 50k or 1.5m. Your booth sells while you are
away, and the silver goes to your bank, less the tax. Outside the
provinces the tax is the same everywhere; in a province its
council sets it. Skill in shopkeeping lowers it.
A covered stall, built from carpenters' larch panels and a roof
frame, has a longer sign and sales log, tells you at login what
sold while you were away, and sells many alike in one slot.
In a province, any booth can list goods straight from your bin in
its storehouse. They stay there until a buyer takes them, and the
buyer receives them in a bin of their own in that storehouse, so
nothing heavy is carried. 'mission register' in the province gives
a buyer a bin there, and 'bin' in the storehouse vault lists it.
'booth take' sends them back to your bin. A large taxed sale at a
booth in a province earns you standing there.
