Your guild decides how you fight and what you learn.
Each one has its own halls, teachers and history.
Some guilds are armies or priesthoods, and one is a refuge for outcasts.
Guilds are institutions in the world of Icesus. They have teachers and meeting places, old loyalties and rivalries, and their own ideas about how a person should live. The skills they teach grow out of those beliefs.
Your main guild decides most of how your character plays: how you fight, what you bring to a party and what you spend your time learning. Specialisations and secondary studies let you vary that.
Each guild’s page covers its history, what its abilities do and how it fights.
Browse them by story, or filter by the role you want in a party.

A party needs someone to take the hits, someone to deal damage and someone to keep everyone going. The guilds overlap in these roles, and your training and equipment decide which part you play.
Combat and partiesThe character builder offers a guided selection of starting professions. A guild’s teachers explain its current requirements.
Later, reincarnation lets you try a different race and guild while retaining earned experience.
