The masonry skill allows refiners to build a furnace used for refining ore into metal bars, it also gives the skilled the ability to excavate suitable stone from quarries, which can be used for many constructions. Workmanship is also an important component for the success of a furnace.

To build a furnace: use masonry at build <furnace type>

To attempt to rebuild a furnace: use masonry at rebuild <furnace type>

To excavate a quarry: use masonry at excavate quarry
