Metal tempering is a small but crucial part of creating metal equipment. It involves heating the metal up to a certain temperature depending on the metal and realigning the bonds in the metal so that the metal becomes more resilient. This skill whilst easy to learn the basics is quite difficult to master and takes time and effort to do, but is worth it for that extra bit of edge.
