Money

From Icesus Wiki

Icesus counts money in silver. Prices, guild training costs and bank balances are all given in silver, and four kinds of coin carry it.

Coin Worth One coin weighs 1,000 silver's worth weighs
Silver 1 silver 2 g 2 kg
Gold 10 silver 2 g 200 g
Platinum 100 silver 1 g 10 g
Mithril 1,000 silver 1 g 1 g

One coin weighs next to nothing, but a purse full of silver soon slows you down. Carry the bigger coins and keep the rest in a bank.

Seeing your money

  • i lists the coins you carry and ends with your cash and your total with the bank: [Cash: 1,250 Total: 48,000].
  • i weight also shows how much each kind of coin weighs and how much room it takes.
  • score and exp show your cash and your bank balance.

Paying and getting paid

When you pay for something, your smallest coins go first. If you only have bigger coins, you get the change back. Money paid to you comes in the biggest coins it can.

Coins move like any other item: give 50 gold to <name>, drop 10 silver, put all money in sack. all money means every coin and pile of coins, and all gold just your gold. See help object handling in the game.

The bank

Your bank account is the same at every bank. Depositing is free, withdrawing costs 10% of what you take out, and you can send money to other players. Guild training draws on your account once your purse runs out, and shops and smiths sell on credit for a little extra. The commands and fees are on the Banks page.
