Syntax: term [emulation | <columns>x<rows> | autodetect]
Example: 'term 120x50' sets 120 columns wide and 50 rows tall.
Icesus detects your terminal type and screen size automatically
if your client supports it. If it doesn't, you can adjust them
manually with this command.
Setting 'term <w>x<h>' also turns off autodetect so the manual size
isn't overwritten by your client. Type 'term autodetect' to toggle
autodetect on or off.
'term -q <setting>' makes the same change without printing
anything. Clients that set up your session at every login use it.
Available terminal emulations:
ansi (default for most clients)
ansi-status
ansi-no-utf8 (ANSI colors, transliterates UTF-8 for legacy clients)
xterm
zmud (same as ansi-no-utf8)
cmud (same as ansi-no-utf8)
TINYFUGUE
mushclient
blightmud
tintin++
mudlet
unknown
CMUD and zMUD show the extra colours of the other emulations as
blinking text. When your client names itself one of them, Icesus
uses its 16-colour table for that session, whatever you have saved.
Your saved choice still applies when you connect with another client.
If your client supports GMCP (Mudlet, BlightMud, etc.) Icesus also
shows the detected client name and version. See 'help client' for
more.
