This page describes a part of Icesus that no longer exists.

Backgrounds were how a character was put together before kingdoms and stories replaced them. None of the choices described here can be made in the game today. The page is kept as a record of how Icesus used to work.

Current system: Character creation and Stories

Barbers cut and trim hair and beards, cleaning the appearance of their customers. Working as a barber requires nimble fingers, which could increase your potential dexterity later on. You will also learn ways to keep your own appearance clean and tidy, and techniques to handle even the most disagreeable customers, thus improving your potential charisma. Barbers also become skilled at using knives.

The most visible effects on your character:

  o Better swords skill.
  o Dexterity gives a little more endurance.
  o Gives more wealth.
  o Greatly increased maximum dexterity.
  o Increased maximum charisma.
