This page describes a part of Icesus that no longer exists.

Backgrounds were how a character was put together before kingdoms and stories replaced them. None of the choices described here can be made in the game today. The page is kept as a record of how Icesus used to work.

Current system: Character creation and Stories

Those who are drawn towards a life studying and serving one of the elemental deities sometimes decide that the best way to show their faith is to wander among others and offer blessings from their deity and what other help they can to anyone in need. These benefactors usually get practiced in drawing on the power of their deity, and are often known as wise people.

The most visible effects on your character:

  o Better rite of success skill.
  o Dexterity gives much less endurance.
  o Increased maximum wisdom.
  o Lowered maximum dexterity.
  o Much better bless spell.
  o Wisdom gives more spell points.
