This page describes a part of Icesus that no longer exists.

Backgrounds were how a character was put together before kingdoms and stories replaced them. None of the choices described here can be made in the game today. The page is kept as a record of how Icesus used to work.

Current system: Character creation and Stories

Guarding the caravans transporting merchants' goods gives good potential health, and nimbleness is also required on the long travels and in sudden ambushes by bandits.

The most visible effects on your character:

  o Better melee skill.
  o Better military discipline skill.
  o Dexterity gives a little more endurance.
  o Gives more wealth.
  o Greatly increased maximum constitution.
  o Increased maximum dexterity.
  o Lowered maximum intelligence.
  o Lowered maximum wisdom.
