This page describes a part of Icesus that no longer exists.

Backgrounds were how a character was put together before kingdoms and stories replaced them. None of the choices described here can be made in the game today. The page is kept as a record of how Icesus used to work.

Current system: Character creation and Stories

Cavaliers are former squires, who have remained true to the knightly virtues, but have not become true knights. Instead they have chosen to travel around the country independently, often following the same code of honour knights do. They are often employed in a similar fashion to mercenaries, but too often the payment is not worth the effort.

The most visible effects on your character:

  o Better riding skill.
  o Better shield parry skill.
  o Constitution gives a little more health.
  o Gives more wealth.
  o Increased maximum constitution.
  o Increased maximum strength.
  o Intelligence gives a little more spell points
