Albila
Albila is the goddess of Water. Her priests call her the lady of the depths.
She is one of the five gods of the Elements, and she came to Aegic with the others. Long ago she went to war against Zrammas, the goddess of Fire, with the god Okka as her ally. Fire was stronger than both. Okka was destroyed, and Albila was hurt, though less than the other two.
Okka's death tore a rift in space. Albila used it to draw power from the plane of Water, and a flood of water followed. The world cooled, and the water froze into the Ice. See History.
The cilosses and the refugees of Teladan both revered Albila. Together they built the Grand Cathedral of Water in Cenedoiss. The Priests of water worship her and cast Albila's blessing. Their most learned priests seek out a blind seer, the voice of Albila.
During the old alliance, the priests of Water learned secrets of magic from the priests of Okka. Many old beings still hate them for it. In Atherton, priests of Water are unwelcome.
