To see available missions, visit a province job board and 'read board'.
A fighting job names how strong its foes are, in the words 'consider'
uses.
Most missions ask for a silver deposit, returned when you turn the
work in. If you are short of silver on hand, the rest is drawn
from your bank account. The occasional community job is free to
take.
Abandoning a job forfeits that deposit and costs you standing with
the province. The one exception is a job where none of the work can
be done any more — a building stage somebody else completed, stores
with no room left at all, an ore bin already hauled away. The
province takes those back at no cost: your stake returns to your
bank and your standing is untouched. If only part of the job is
still possible, deliver what fits first: it counts toward the job,
and once nothing more fits you can abandon the rest at no cost. A
board will not offer work the settlement cannot use, so this is
rare.
Use the number from 'read board' to accept. It names the job you
read, even if the board changes afterwards; if that job has been
taken or the board refreshed, you are asked to read it again.
For complete or abandon, use the current position from 'mission';
it is not a permanent ID.

Examples:
mission accept 3 - accept mission #3 from the board
mission complete - turn in a ready mission here
mission complete 2 - turn in mission #2 from your 'mission' list
mission complete all - turn in every ready mission here
